What about duty of care ? view answer
We have a duty of care for all learners who take part in Apprenticeship Programmes through our many arrangements with Motor Vehicle Manufacturers, Groups and independent companies. All necessary meaures are taken to ensure that stringent health and safety measured are adhered to at all times.

Will we need to provide clothing or uniform ? view answer
During off the job training necessary overalls and protective footwear must be provided by the learner but all other tools and items of protective equipment are provided.

Are there more opportunities for training and promotion ? view answer
Yes, provided that you son or daughter qualifies NVQ level 3, the opportunities are endless beyond then depending on ambition. We encourage all our technicians to increase their knowledge with further technical training courses and even the opportunity to work towards Master Technician.

Will my son/daughter earn as they learn ? view answer
Yes. All apprentices will first have to secure sponsorship from their local dealer; here they will become part of the service team while they train. After successfully gaining a position at a Volvo dealership, they will be contracted and paid as a full time employee with that dealer.
